FirstPoint Management Resources Announces Year End Move to New Raleigh Location

FirstPoint Management Resources (FPMR) will be relocating its offices during the fourth quarter of 2021. The move shifts operations from 1500 Sunday Drive near the PNC Arena to 3739 National Drive near Crabtree Mall in Raleigh.

The transition to new space will begin on November 13 and conclude by mid-December. The organization will operate continuously throughout the transition period. FPMR, like other organizations, is working on a strategy to transition its staff back into the office, either full time or in a hybrid arrangement.

The new space will feature a variety of enhancements including a large multi-purpose meeting room that can seat up to 40 people in a classroom setting. The office will also offer two small meeting rooms, each seating from 6 to 8 people comfortably

Mark Prince, President and CEO of FirstPoint, expressed enthusiasm about the move and its positive impact on the firm and its culture. “This move will offer a variety of benefits for our clients and team members, and we could not be more excited about the changes,” he said.

Jim Booth, General Manager of FPMR is also positive about the change.

“The timing of the move is good, because it accommodates adjustments to work-from-home practices forced by COVID-19,” he said. “These adjustments have shown us how our work environment can transition to accommodate home-based workers who also need human interaction and space to collaborate.”

FPMR has been at its Sunday Drive location for nearly 20 years. “This is a big adjustment, especially for our clients who may have only known us at our current office,” Booth said. “We’re reaching out to our clients, their members, and others to share information about our new location and the transition timeline.”

The move also coincides with the recent launch of FPMR’s new consulting service. FPMR now has the capability of assisting nonprofit and professional organizations with a variety of key management functions, including strategic planning, board development, meeting planning, communication, and membership recruitment and retention.
