Celebrating Jerel Noel

Association Executives of North Carolina inaugurates a new president on August 3.  Jerel Noel, CAE, is a Senior Account Manager with Raleigh-based FirstPoint Management Resources and serves as Executive Director of Cardiovascular Credentialing International. Noel will serve a one-year term ending in August 2021. AENC is a professional society promoting professional development and networking among association management professionals in North Carolina.

Noel is a graduate of the University of Alabama and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE). He began his work with FirstPoint in 2000. During his two-decade career in association management he served in several association management capacities including Executive Director of the National Board of Echocardiography.

“It has always been an honor to serve AENC,” Noel said. “The opportunities and experiences that AENC has provided have shaped my personal and professional life. I look forward to working with our dedicated board, staff, and the AENC membership to move forward AENC’s mission: To help our members succeed.”

Noel joined the staff of Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as Associate Executive Director/Director of Examinations in 2008 and moved to Executive Director in 2014. CCI supports professional societies and associations, personnel credentialing and educational programs by providing high quality competency-based examinations in cardiovascular technology. CCI also serves emerging cardiovascular medical professionals.

The AMC Institute designated FPMR an Accredited Association Management Company in 2016 and renewed that accreditation in 2020. Fewer than 90 association management companies have achieved AMCI accreditation.
